Brian Matthys, DO is
a graduate of Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. Postgraduate studies followed at Ohio University and completed in
2000. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology in the Department of Internal Medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
Dr. Matthys is a member of the Kansas City Dermatologic Association, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Photobiology, and the American Society for Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Matthys is a participant of Northland Healthcare Access, whose purpose is to provide care to the under or uninsured living in the Northland. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Jellybean Conspiracy, a theater of kindness whose mission is to include the gifts and creativity of children and young adults with disabilities within the structure of a theatrical play.
Extracurricular activities include travel, guitar and antique cars.

Molly B. Menser, DO, originally from Minnesota, is a Kansas City trained dermatologist. She is a 2007 graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, where she was presented the President’s Award - a top honor given by the University President. She completed her internship at Saint Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her dermatologic training followed at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Dr. Menser has become active in teaching medical students and fostering interest in the discipline of dermatology to those in primary care. She twice received the University of Kansas Student Voice award for excellence in clinical teaching.
While completing her training in dermatology, Dr. Menser developed a passion for educating children, adolescents and adults on the prevention of skin cancer.
Dr. Menser is a board certified dermatologist and Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Menser's personal interests include photography, travel, antiques, theater, and baking.

Jenny Manz, aesthetician, graduated from Drake University before completing the Esthetics program at Johnson County Community College, where she graduated top of class.
Jenny is well versed in skin conditions, and skin disorders, and makes it a point to provide a thorough skin analyses with every treatment. She also educates patients on proper skin care products to use at home, and outlines the best treatments for each patient. Jenny’s background includes experience in the spa industry and in professional makeup artistry training. She has a true passion about making a difference in someone’s skin, and firmly believes in the power of the skin care treatments at Sunflower Dermatology and Medical Day Spa. Just as important, Jenny loves to make everyone feel beautiful with each makeup application and every helpful skin care tip.
